Conclusion (based on one trial in 2022 and 2023, respectively)
• There was no or only week interactions (mainly non-significant effects) between soil type (clay and organic content) and fertilization levels on growth and yield of sugar beets.
• Soil type and fertilization only partly explained growth and yield of sugar beets. In 2023, however, there was a clear negative effect of increasing clay-content and decreasing organic-content on early growth.
