Bejdsning mod rodbrand i sukkerroer
Conclusion
Fungicide seed treatment with Tachigaren and Rampart has been investigated in four trials. The attacks have been moderate – so on average 10 percent of the plants in the untreated shows attack with damping off in the first assessment and 4 percent of the plants in the second assessment. The moderate attack has resulted in low plant numbers. General increased yields for seed treatment with Tachigaren against damping off between 3 and 6 percent relative sugar have been observed for the treated entries, which corresponds to 563 to 707 kg. sugar per hectare. Several years of experimental results show that seed treatment with Tachigaren leads to control of damping off and higher final plant numbers. Varying excess yields have been achieved, with a tendency of 2-3 percent higher relative sugar yield on average over the last 11 years. The entries with seeds treated with the mixture of Tachigaren and Rampart indicate that there has been no effect of penthiopyrad against the diseases present in the trials. This is as expected, as the trial sites have been actively selected not to contain diseases such as phoma or rhizoctonia – and therefore it was not expected to benefit from using Rampart in these trial areas.
