Conclusion

Between April and July 2023, weekly monitoring of pests was carried out in collaboration with Nordic Sugar in 15 sugar beet fields treated with Force 20 CS seed coating. Damage from thrips and pygmy mangold beetles was not found to exceed the damage threshold. Black bean aphids were found throughout the cultivation area, and in several fields the damage threshold was exceeded. The green peach-potato aphid was not found in the monitoring route in 2023.
